She made quilts for several of her grandchildren, and was very active in quilting bees with other ladies in Penobsquis, New Brunswick. I don’t know whether she made any other Crazy Quilts, [...] Hi everyone, It’s great to be seeing photos of samplers and other family heirlooms that are in our possession. I expect most of us know the importance of (a) having professional advice or help with any restoration work, (b) using conservation glass to protect photos, artwork, samplers, diplomas, etc from damage by sunlight and [...] Here are a some samplers made in the 19th century by some of our ancestors.
